Florence: Salvatore Ferragamo Museum, Ponte Vecchio & strolling through Florence

Ponte Vecchio Bridge

Unfortunately it started raining today, but I guess we were kind of used to it!

As soon as we settled in, we freshened up and decided to go out. Initially I wanted to go to the Uffiizi gallery, but decided to change my mind last minute. I decided that we were going to go to the Salvatore Ferragamo Museum! Too bad we couldn't take any photos but it was a pretty interesting museum if you love shoes and Salvatore Ferragamo! I found it quirky, Lee on the other hand was falling asleep!

Love it!

Yes... He is famous!

The museum entrance (sorry no photos were allowed!)

Lovely streets of Florence

We walked to Ponte Vecchio, which wasn't too far from the museum, and it was busy. It is one of 2 bridges where there's actually shops on the bridge! And all the shops on the bridges sell gold! Lee loved it because he said it definitely looks like Assassin's Creed in Florence!

Walking on the bridge

Beautiful!

Selfie on the bridge!

Gelato time!

A shop on the bridge. They're all like that!

What the shops look like when they're closed

There are great photo ops near Ponte Vecchio with the Arno river. The river reflection is amazing either night or day.

We then had a typical Italian dinner and retreated for bed as tomorrow was going to be a fun day.. Pisa & Lucca!

Until then,

-V
