Puerto Rico: Old San Juan History tour!

Ok so yesterday, we went and did more touristy stuff, and visited the forts in Old San Juan, Castillo  de San Cristobal & El Morro fort.

The forts were both amazing. To imagine that there were soldiers fighting at the exact same place was fascinating, and to see that they pretty much surround and protect Old San Juan was totally amazing! Castillo de San Cristobal was built by Spain to protect against land based attacks, and El Morro was built to protect against sea attacks. Can you believe that they were built in the 1500s and still exist to this day? I don't know why I find it so fascinating!

We ended up staying in the city and drinking again, just cause it's cheap and they love putting heaps of alcohol in their drinks! We also decided to try our luck at one of their casinos! haha it was fun but we lost! Let me tell you they gave you complimentary - YES that is right, even alcoholic so we got some free alcohol! I swears, I got tipsy after 2.. I don't know if I'm a lightweight, or if it was 3/4 alcohol, I think it was the second option! haha

Anyway, it was another fun day in San Juan, Puerto Rico!

Until then,

Me & a local busker - he was cool!
The sunset while we were drinking our rum cocktails!
