Prague: Wenceslas Square, some Czech grub and the Dancing House!

A quick snapshot of one side of Wenceslas Square

We waited until the sun set to see what we could explore in Prague. Because it was late already, we didn't do that much!

We strolled to Wenceslas square. I don't remember what time we got there (I would say about 9:30ish) and there were so many people still strolling and hanging around. A lot of people just hang out and drink in public, which is fine so that's what people were doing here. There was a whole heap of casinos too not as upscale as Sydney or Melbourne, but where people can just chill, play and hang out.

We stumbled across a Czech restaurant that we wanted to try out, and we did! It was very interesting. Felt like we were eating in the Jenolan Caves!

I had to try out their Czech wine, which I would say was ok. The meal was very hearty and heavy but it was perfect for a cold night I say! It's weird because you can still smoke indoors in some restaurants which I found odd!

Check out the decorations behind Lee's head!

Up close. Looked like we were in a cave!

Our free appetiser. I don't know what it was but it was yum!

Potato & Mushroom soup

Beef w/ bread dumplings. I forgot the name of it!

Their version of creme caramel w/ raspberries
We were so stuffed that we had to walk it off, and decided to walk to see the dancing house, a house that looks like is dancing with the other building. Check it out!

Not a great pic but here we are in front of it!

The dancing house also known as Fred & Ginger! Can you see it dancing?
We then continued to walk home as it was midnight. We strolled along the main river in prague, which was flooded, it was so sad. There was just people looking over as well seeing the extend of the damage. It was a good night for our first night in Prague. Hopefully the weather holds out for us while we're here, and also for the sake of Prague!

A scary alleyway we went in on the way home!

Until then,
