Prague: Old Town: Old Town Square, Astronomical Clock & Tower, Tyn & St Nicholas Churches

Today was going to be a nice day strolling through Old Town in Prague. After all we walking we did the day before, we thought that we should just chill and see what we could find!

We walked to Old Town, which wasn't too far from where we were staying. We were lucky that it was a beautiful day in Prague today!

Walking to Old Town Square

Beautiful panoramic shot of Old Town Square in Prague

When we got to Old Town, we decided to have lunch in the square. Why not right? Felt good to sit back, relax and watch all the people stroll through the square.

Haha love it!

Same with this!

Me and my apple martini!

Next to where we had lunch, was the Astronomical Clock, which was first installed in 1410. It is the third-oldest astronomical clock in the world and the oldest one still working. It was impressive! What was more impressive was that you could climb up the tower and see the beautiful view of Prague. It was more that I imagined. It was stunning! I can't explain it.. and it made me love Prague even more! The pictures will tell the words for me!

Me in front of the clock. It was too high to fit in the pic!

The views from above. I love it!

And with Church of our Old Lady before Tyn

Next stop, St Nicholas Church, a popular Baroque church in Prague. Not the biggest, but it doesn't have to be. It was still amazing! On their website it says that Mozart played their organ during his stay there. How cool is that!?

The interior of the church

Last but not that least was the Church of our Old Lady before Tyn. You will see this church in the square as the large, dark, Romanesque Church. It wouldn't be the same square if this church wasn't there! Too bad you couldn't take any photos of the inside but the inside was very different compared to all the other churches. Dark designs with gold trimmings!

I wanted to see what Old Town Square looked like at night. We went back home and rested before going back out. On the way home we did stop back at Wenceslas Square to do a bit of shopping hehe..

Break time! Macaron Frappes...!!

We were supposed to go to an Absinthe Bar but by the time we had dinner and walked passed it, it was closed… boooo!

Old Town Square at night was buzzing! We probably got there at around 10:30pm and there were still so many people out. The view was beautiful just like how it is during the day!

Tyn Church all lit up

Of course I had to do a selfie!

It was our last night in Prague and we definitely had a great time! Next stop, Rome which will be an early start the next morning!

Until then,
