Goodbye Amsterdam, Hello Berlin!

It was an early 7am train ride today. The good thing about trains is that you can rock up a minute before the train leaves, unlike planes and airports. There's no security and no luggage restrictions.
We were lucky to make it with 10 minutes to spare before the train left.

It's an interesting experience as we can't do this in Australia.. well you can but they're not high speed! Amsterdam to Berlin in 6 hours via train? Why not right? It's like the same amount of time to catch transport to the airport, go through security, catch the plane, and catch public transport into the city where the train goes from city into city.

We are on the train right now. It was a bit chaotic, we didn't know where we should be sitting haha but we just sat anywhere. The train inspectors came through and said nothing, so I guess it's pick and choose for your seats.

I would recommend catching the train. It was a non-fuss way to get from A to B in Europe.

When we arrived at the main train station, and we were a bit lost trying to find our hotel, and some gypsies tried to speak to Lee… OMG dangerous! Oh well we managed to find our hotel anyway.

We checked in, freshened up, and went straight out to see some sights. So I'll see you in the next post!

Until then,
